"UPDATE: After they moved the clinic I decided to give it another try and I am SO GLAD I did -- its so much improved, and Dr. Williams is awesome! As is typical of my experience, I first emailed the clinic 2 days ago to ask someone to call me before I posted this review, and as I expected, no one has called.Old review:I went in person to the clinic over a week ago because I couldn't get anyone on the phone to ask if I needed to worry about the fact that our puppy wasn't eating."Someone will call you"I was told.No one did.5 days later someone texted (no name) to ask"Hi Mrs. Julie, how is Bowie doing? Is he eating or drinking?"Five days.I ignored the question because clearly they were not concerned about my pup and then instead asked:"I dropped stool sample off - I'm hoping if there was a problem someone would have reached out. it is ok?"And here's their response:"The giardia was positive but I've got some medication ready for pick-up as well. I'm sorry Antech did not send it the response, we had to call."Here's the thing: I have been asking fellow dog people in the neighborhood about why no one likes the clinic (apparently they used to) -- its sooo convenient I really want to use it.Literally the very first person I ran in to after learning that they neglected to tell me that they knew why my puppy was sick - because he had giardia -- said the exact same thing happened with her puppy, that she found out only by asking and that 10 days had passed and the dog seemed sick but she didn't know why.Anyway, I went in, got the medication with instructions on how to administer it and left.I was googling giardia to see how long it lasts, and I see there are lots of things dog owners can do to help prevent reinfection, like wash dog beds, wipe their butts, etc. Its not just enough to give the medication. And no one told me anything other than"here's the medication".I cannot believe how sloppy this operation is. It feels like we have to ask for every scrap of information. Maybe I am not supposed to expect any education about the pup from an animal clinic, but people who take their dogs other places describe feeling much more confident in the care and education they receive.Big bummer."
